Meet the Royal Star Team! We fell in LOVE for these STUNNING Black Friesians. Since then, we have dedicated our lives to promoting these gorgeous Friesians and, joining them with their happy new owners.
The Royal Star team is dedicated to providing superior Friesians to our valued customers, with over 100 years of combined equestrian experience. Our Training Team has professionally showed and trained horses for decades. Our goal is to provide our clients with happy, healthy and well-trained Friesians. We believe that our horses will make fantastic riding partners for beginners to the most advanced riders. Regardless of the riding discipline, FEI to trails, our Friesians will be willing and happy partners.
Royal Star Friesians selects only the gentlest natured horses that are willing and ready to work hard for their new owners. In most cases, only Friesians that are titled with the distinguished “Ster” rating by the Dutch Friesian Judges based in Holland are selected. Approximately 10% that are judged in the Keuring are given this prestigious title. In Stallions, less than 3% of the Friesian Stallions ever judged will receive this honor.
All of the Royal Star Friesians receive ongoing Dressage training and care. Royal Star Friesians receive full attention and training so that they are in optimum condition for their new owners.
At Royal Star we ONLY sell FHANA/FHA registered Friesians of the highest quality. Only 100% purebred Friesians are selected to become part of Royal Star !
We are located in sunny southern California (near Del Mar ) close to the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Our warm climate and cool breezes are perfect for year round riding and ongoing training.
